HILL STATIONS
PONMUDI
Ponmudi is located 915m, above sea level. Well known for its beautiful mountain flowers, exotic butterflies, small rivulets and springs, this hill station also has excellent trekking trails.
MUNNAR
This is a nature lever's paradise and was the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once every twelve years, will bloom next in 2006AD.Munnar also has the highest peak in South India Anamudi.
PEERUMEDU
Peerumedu is on the way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The pleasant hill station was once summer retreat of the Maharajas of Travancore. Here will find sprawling tea, coffee, cardamom, rubber and eucalyptus plantations side by side with natural grass land and pine forest.
VYTHIRI
This is renowned for its coffee, tea, cardamom, pepper and rubber plantations. It is located in Wayanad district, and 100km from Kozhikode.
CHARAKKUNNU  
In the Pathanamthitta district only 5 km from Maramon, the world famous Christian Convention Centre, is a picturesque hill station with a panoramic view of the nearby villages. It is a camping center for Conferences and Seminars with comfortable lodging facilities on the top of the hill.
MATTUPETTI
13 km from Munnar, 1700 meter above sea level is famous for the Indo-Swiss live stock project.
DEVIKULAM
15 km from Munnar, is a beautiful hill station with its lawns, exotic fauna and flora and the cool mountain air.
NELLIAMPATHI
This fascinating hill station in Palghat at the height of 450-1572 m. above sea level, can be reached only after negotiating at least 10 hairpin bends on the Sahya ranges.
DHONI
15 km from Palghat, this hill country is the delight of the trekkers, a 3 hr trek from the base of the Dhoni hills to reach this Reserve forest area with its beautiful water falls.
PERUVANTHANAM MUZHI
Dam site 60 km from Calicut, amidst hills is a beautiful picnic spot. Cruises are available in the reservoir. A bird sanctuary and a crocodile farm add to the beauty of the place.
THUSHARA GIRI  
50 km from Calicut is famous for its trekking tracks.
CHEMBRA PEAK
14 km from Kalpatta in Wayanad, 2100 m. above the sea level is an ideal area for trekking.
LAKKIDI
55 km from Calicut and 5 km from Vythiri, 700 m. above sea level is the gateway to Wayanad with lofty peaks, girging streams and luxuriant forests.
POOKOT LAKE
Is a fresh water lake nestled amidst wooded hills in Wayanad.
PYTHAL MALA
65 km from Kannur town is an enchanting hills station 4500 feet above sea level.
  RANIPURAM
55 km from Kasargode, 750 m. above sea level is the hill station famous for its trekking trails and vegetation.
VAGAMON
